Is there anything better than a wedding? The answer is 'no', of course. Especially when it's the wedding of two people that you adore. I can't even begin to express just how happy I am for Story and Draco! I just know that the two of them are going to have an absolutely wonderful life together.
They only announced their engagement a week ago, but I've already purchased all of the bridal magazines I can get my hands on. I loved planning my own wedding, and I know that helping Story with hers won't be any different. In fact, I wish I had more sisters so I could do this more often.
Or... if I had a career, I think I'd very much like to be a wedding planner. It would be so nice to spend my days looking at wedding dresses and picking out flower arrangements. As long as I'd never need to deal with a bride as heinous as I was. I was absolutely terrible.
I haven't been quite this happy since Theo and I got married. |

I do not like this time of year. I'm already sick to death of the chill in the air, and I don't like feeling so cooped up at home. Even if it's only for a little while, there's just something about being in this house after dark, without only my cat and the elf for company, that makes me feel uneasy.
I just cannot wait until summer returns, and brings it's beautiful long days along with it!
This time of year isn't completely awful, though. I do like having a fire lit. And looking out the window and watching the snow fall (when it happens), but other than all of that? No thank you.
Tomorrow I'm having the elf show me how to bake a cake. It should be very interesting. |

Halloween is barely a week away, and I have no idea what I want to dress up as this year! I was thinking about being Aphrodite, but that's just so common, isn't it? Last year I was a geisha. Maybe I'll be a Valkyrie this year? You don't see one of those every Halloween, do you? I think not. |

The more I think about it (and I've been thinking about it a lot lately), the more convinced I am that me, you and mummy are the one ones in our family with a single bit of sense in our heads. We're the only sane ones, too. I'm not including Theo and Draco in this. Only Greengrasses.

I went out to lunch today and I saw probably the most vile, disgusting thing I've ever seen in my entire life! A woman was having lunch with her friend (I suppose she was her friend, but I would never associate with a person like this) and right in the middle of their eating, the first woman put her baby right onto the table and changed it's nappy! I wasn't even that close to them and I wanted to be sick! I can't even imagine how that poor other woman must have felt!
Thankfully the manager came out and told the first woman that she wasn't permitted to do that. But then that woman got herself all into a tizzy about how she needs to care for her precious baby that wasn't even cute and that he should mind his business. I paid and left shortly after that.
Honestly. Do people have no idea how to behave in public anymore? |

For want of another hobby, I tried my hand at gardening this morning. I was having a good time with it, tending to the flowers and even pulling up a few weeds, until a gnome jumped out at me and tried to bite me. Of course, as soon as I dealt with that one, another came, and then another. Queenie was outside with me at the time, and I was truly surprised by her when she went after one of them. I'm not sure if she was trying to protect me or just wanted a bit of fun, though I suspect it was the latter selfish bitch that she is. The elf is bathing her as I write this, and I had to subdue her with magic so she wouldn't claw the poor dear to bits. Queenie absolutely despises baths.
Thankfully, in the end, I walked away unharmed. I now know of the horrible germs gnomes could carry and I'm ever so glad I don't need to spend any amount of time in a hospital bed. I think I should just stick to filling my free time with clothesmaking, books, and shopping from now on. |

I got frustrated with a robe I was making today (for Story - but don't worry, I'll have it done for you soon!) so I decided that I would look through one of Theodore's medical books. It turned out to be a lot more interesting than I thought it would be. Granted, some of it was like trying to read another language, but I think I understood it quite nicely. My interests are broadening, and I like it.
Tomorrow I'm thinking about doing a bit of shopping. I made myself something new the other day, and I would quite like a pair of shoes and a bag to match. Perhaps I'll by myself a book too. Fiction, probably. Or perhaps a biography. I've never read anything about Rowena Ravenclaw (other than what was mentioned in books about Salazar Slytherin) but I've been curious about her lately. |

The weather may be much better than it was a few weeks ago, but I'm still anxiously and impatiently awaiting for the arrival of that blessed season known as SUMMER! I cannot wait to go on a holiday at the beach and be able to walk out of my flat without a jacket. I'm so tired of jackets! I want to wear pretty dresses with open-toed shoes! I want to see flowers and butterflies!
I could do without the wasps, though. I would not be at all upset if I found out that all of the wasps in Britain died out over the winter and won't be returning this year.
I'm talking about the weather. How British of me. |

The fact that I'm going to have a Weasley at my birthday makes me feel like such a rebel. Oh, daddy would be so cross with me if he knew about this! But that's the beauty of a masquerade, isn't it? Daddy will never seem him, so he'll never need to know he's there. I wonder what he would do if he found out, though?
At least Bill isn't as insufferable as Ron is. I don't think he is, anyway. I can't imagine Fleur marrying an annoying man. She's far too classy for that. Bill Weasley must be amazing to catch the eye of a woman like Fleur! I want her to be my new BFF. She and I have so much in common! And she's actually more beautiful than I am. Only by a little bit, though. If she wasn't a part-Veela we would be exactly equal.

Exactly three days until my birthday party! I'm so excited! Although I can't help but wish that I would have waited ten more days to be born so my birthday would have been on Valentine's Day instead. I don't know what it is about Valentine's Day, but I've always seen it as very magical! Theodore better not be working.

Cliff gave me the idea that we could send food to the staff of the hospital. I was thinking we could ask mummy if we could use the elf to help us with this, since there would be a lot to do. I don't think daddy would approve. We could put together baskets with yummy goodies like healthy yet tasty muffins, and your cinnamon rolls so they have something sweet to eat. And fruit. Fruit is necessary. I've already been making sure that Theo is well-fed whenever he comes to visit me.
I want to do something to help, but I just can't scrub floors. |

I just returned from France! I hope all of you didn't miss me too much while I was gone! I swear, it took a lot of effort for me to return to England. The weather was so beautiful, and I had an absolutely marvelous time!
I swear, in my next life I need to come back as a woman from Southern France. The weather there simply suits me so much more! It was so depressing, walking out onto my balcony when I got home and feeling the dreadful cold air.

Thank you very much for the bracelet. It's absolutely gorgeous! It was also very interesting to see the muggle owlman for the first time.

I may not get my wish to go out of the country for Christmas, but I'll be going to France for the New Year. I had considered having a party for it, but I simply can't pass up the opportunity to spend some time where it's warm and refresh my French. I've asked Astoria if she wants to come with me.
I could always have a New Year party next year.
Also, I'm very excited to be a bridesmaid in Morag and Cliff's wedding. I love weddings.

I just watched a man propose to his ladylove by breaking into song and dance in public! I caught a glimpse of the ring and the rock was tiny, but that had to be - without a shadow of a doubt in my mind - the sweetest thing I've ever witnessed!
I am so jealous.
